WAIVER OF PREMIUM Exonération des prime
A life insurance policy rider that pays the premium on the policy in the event that the insured becomes disabled. Generally there is a waiting period (e.g., six months). The policy remains inforce and the values continue to grow as if the premiums were paid.
WARRANT
A security entitling the holder to buy a proportionate amount of stock at some specified future date and price, usually higher than the current market. The warrant is then traded as a security on the open market and reflects the value of the underlying stock.
WHEN-ISSUED SECURITIES
A security that is conditionally traded on an exchange prior to the date the security is issued. New issues of stocks and bonds, stocks that have split and Treasury securities are all traded on a when-issued basis.
WHOLE LIFE INSURANCE Assurance-via compléte
A form of cash value life insurance that is designed to remain in force for the life of the insured. The policy generally has a level premium and level death benefit. Modified premium schedules are also available, e.g. '10-pay whole life' and '20-pay whole life'.
WILL Testamento
A legal document that outlines how a person wishes to have their property disposed of after their death. In the absence of a will, property will be disposed of in accordance with the intestate statutes of the state.

Worksite marketing is an insurance marketing system for companies that want to increase the efficiency of their selling efforts by focusing on payroll deduction-based sales to individual prospects through the prospects' common work place. Worksite sales of insurance products benefit both the employer and the employee because the employer gains the advantage of increased employee loyalty and the employee gains the benefit of buying the insurance that they need on a favorable basis.

WRAP FEE ACCOUNT
