Life Settlement Analyzer
The Life Settlement Analyzer system was developed as a PC-based tool to enable the user to determine a gross purchase offering by building their own UL product from the information supplied with the client's in-force projection. The key feature of this software is the Cost of Insurance (COI) extrapolator which allows the user to easily replicate the policy and quickly and effectively analyze the cost of maintaining the premium requirements for a given policy. These analyses can be "rolled forward" without the delays associated with obtaining new in-force projections from the carrier. The software enables the user to readily consider the impact of worst case scenarios such as survivorship beyond life expectancy, maximum cost of insurance and minimum interest crediting assumptions.
Life Settlement Analyzer Features
Cost of Insurance (COI) reverse engineering.
Simple processing for conservative projections using maximum COI, and/or minimum interest.
Automatic aging features.
The system can readily determine premium funding requirements via five user-defined options:
Determine the minimum monthly premium to avoid lapses,
Solve for level premium over the life expectancy period,
Let the premium equal the annualized cost of insurance,
User defined cash payment schedule, and
Maximum initial withdrawal for contracts with excess funding.
Life Settlement Pricing Features
Data Life has an enhanced system which includes the life settlement pricing feature. This feature permits the analysis of "What If" scenarios and incorporates this consideration into the gross purchase offering.
In addition to analysis of multiple life expectancies, this feature permits analysis of pre-tax and post-tax benefits. Purchase price analysis features include:
Discounting the death benefit at the desired rate of return,
Discounting the premium funding at the independent rate consistent with the funding assumptions, and
Deterministic or probabilistic analysis options are available.
Life Settlement Portfolio Analysis
This is an add-on tool to LSA that allows life settlement investment entities to track and analyze the impact of various factors on purchased policies. With this powerful tool an investor can also proactively target desired types of policies. The types of analysis supported include the following:
Analyze hypothetical model portfolios,
Monitor active portfolios, including stochastic and deterministic ROI analysis,
Track policy maturities and premium activity, and
Support GAAP financial reporting (when the standards are adopted).
Life Settlement Tracker (LST)
The Life Settlement Tracker was developed to meet the specific needs of life settlement provider, investment entities/funders and life settlement brokerage offices. LST focuses on facilitating and automating the life settlement pricing analysis and price offer process. The web-based system provides users with automated processing, improved communication, collaboration and rapid and secure dissemination and retrieval of information from locations around the world.
Life Settlement Tracker Features
Fully functional case management is integrated with a contact manager.
Document management allows the storage and tracking of each document related to a case.

An additional feature of LST is the e-Market Place. This feature provides a secure and efficient web-based method of collaborating on life settlement cases. Two distinct views are provided:
Life Settlement e-Market Place - Producer Version
The producer version provides a secure internet site where a producer may transfer electronic documents and information related to a life settlement case to their life settlement broker without the transfer risks that exist in unsecured email. In addition, they may view the current status of their cases and communicate electronically with the case manager responsible for their business.
Life Settlement e-Market Place - Provider/Funder Version
The producer version provides a secure internet site where a producer may transfer electronic documents and information related to a life settlement case to their life settlement broker without the transfer risks that exist in unsecured email. In addition, they may view the current status of their cases and communicate electronically with the case manager responsible for their business.
The provider/funder version provides a secure internet site where documents and other information may be viewed by your life settlement providers or investment entities in order to provide you timely offers.
Life Settlement Evaluation Services
The life settlement actuarial evaluation services provide a cost-effective approach to funding (premium schedules) and pricing (gross purchase offers) analysis of all types of whole life and universal life policies, including second-to-die. There are a number of consulting packages that are available that provide discounts based on your volume.
Case Analysis Services
The Market Range evaluation was developed as a cost-effective service to enable the broker to quickly determine the range of gross purchase offerings that are likely to be made.
The analysis provides a range of gross purchase offerings that could be expected in the secondary market. The values do not reflect the specific offering practices on any single purchasing entity; but reflect the range of practices that are commonly used in the industry. The only “true” value is what someone is willing to pay and this value is influenced by a number of different factors. This analysis does provide the broker with a tool to evaluate the offers.
The analysis leverages the features of the Funding and Pricing options to produce a range of offerings. The range is typically affected by varying the pricing parameters. See the pricing section.
